Selected experience
Two decades across cybersecurity, secure communications, and technical leadership.
Led assessment and authorization work for two enterprise networks. Translated security gaps and residual risk into clear recommendations while directing authorization evidence, continuous monitoring, and remediation priorities.
Directed around-the-clock secure telecommunications for deployed forces and led a multidisciplinary technical team. Coordinated incident response, readiness exercises, and a Microsoft 365 migration serving 700 users.
Advised senior leadership on operations, cybersecurity risk, and personnel readiness. Led vulnerability scanning and remediation across five information systems, reducing critical findings while maintaining mission availability.
Led integration and security testing for tactical systems across shipboard environments. Developed test plans and operating procedures, applied security guidance, and supported thousands of fleet IT service requests.
Progressed through afloat, shore, and joint assignments supporting secure communications and information security. Led technical teams, coordinated with partner organizations, and trained personnel in communications, COMSEC, and cybersecurity operations.
